The benefits of using a real application rather than a browser-based solution are many, including:

• The performance is much, much better. No wait cursors and waiting times
• Full integration with other applications on your computer (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.)
• Client integrations work more smoothly. For example drag & drop of documents and e-mails, PDF file generation, Word, Exel and Outlook templates
• You can have an infinite number of windows open simultaneously
• Hotkeys, window layout, menus, switching windows, etc. works the way you are used to from your other applications
• Possibility for customer-specific integrations

However, there are also a couple of disadvantages:

• First time use requires installation (*)
• Requires a Windows computer (**)

By delivering 360 as an application, we have 100% control (and responsibility) for the security, user experience and functionality. Everything still works when Microsoft / Google release an update and there are no excuses like "This feature only works in Chrome" or “Try clearing your browser history and do it again.".

When choosing between an application and a browser-based solution, consider how often you need the features in question. Is it something you need every day or is it just from time-to-time? If you need them every day, the installation time should not be an issue, since you trade those 2 minutes of installation for a much better user experience every time you use the application.

• Have you installed the Facebook app on your phone or are you only using it through your mobile browser?
• Have you installed Outlook on your PC or are you using the web version?
• Do you use Excel or are Google Sheets good enough?
• Have you installed a PDF reader on your computer or do you only need the Edge / Chrome plugin

Real apps for mobile phones and tablets

Correspondingly, as we decided to develop a real Windows application for your PC, we also developed a number of real apps running on iPhone and Android devices. That way, you get the ultimate user experience, both when you are using your PC and when you are on the road.

(*) The installation of 360 Business Tool is quite simple. You can either use Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive or download the application directly from us. On the first login, you enter your username and password, and then you are ready. Our supporters are on standby to assist you by phone or e-mail. If you experience any problems, we can remotely operate your computer and do it for you - no additional payment!

(**) If you do not use Windows, we can help you set up a remote desktop solution that allows the application to run on Mac, Linux, or other operating systems. The user experience is not completely the same as on a real Windows computer, but it works well enough for those of our users who prefer not to use Windows.
